Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Twenny governing your access to and use of the Twenny mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. You represent that you have authority to create profiles for any children you add and to consent to their use of the Service under your supervision.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account, including profiles you create for your children.
Subscriptions and billing
Twenny offers auto-renewable subscription plans. Plans bought in our mobile apps are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Plans bought on our website are processed by Stripe. New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial when offered at sign-up; for app purchases, eligibility is determined by Apple or Google. If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. After the trial, payment is charged to your Apple ID, your Google Play account, or the payment method you gave at web checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel app subscriptions in your device's subscription settings, and website subscriptions in Account settings on our website. Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. For website purchases, contact us.
Educational disclaimer
Twenny is a supplemental family learning tool, not a school or substitute for professional educational, medical, or legal advice. Lesson completion and quiz scores reflect in-app activity only.
AI-generated content
Practice feedback and lesson examples may be generated with AI and can contain errors. Treat practice feedback as a study aid, not a substitute for a teacher. Parents should supervise children's use.
Acceptable use
Twenny is provided for personal, family educational use. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to access other families' data.
Intellectual property
Twenny and its content, software, and curriculum materials are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited license to use the Service for personal family use in accordance with these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using Twenny and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk or legal exposure.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TWENNY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) CAD $50.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
